Dopo il suo bellissimo mondiale, Wesley Sneijder ha assicurato, in
un'intervista con la stampa olandese prima della finale, che non
lascerà l'Inter. «Resto - ha detto - giocherò per tutta la prossima
stagione con l'Inter. Il mio cuore è a Milano, con l'Inter ho vinto
tutto nell'ultima stagione e resta ancora molto da vincere come la
Supercoppa Europea, la Supercoppa italiana e la Coppa del mondo per
club, che sono dei bei trofei». Sneijder ha ribadito di sapere che c'è
un «interesse concreto» del Manchester United. Il presidente dell'Inter
Moratti aveva precisato ieri che il trequartista olandese non è in
vendita.

Non leggo i giornali, qualche volta mi sono arrabbiato per qualcosa che è stato scritto. E se ripenso al periodo di sofferenza della famiglia che ho vissuto sembra incredibile, quando si è malati non si cura molto di calcio, ma mi piace calcio e sono felice di giocare per l'Inter. E ho capito che nell' Inter non sarò solo Sneijder, ma una grande persona amata dai suoi tifosi. San Siro è increbile e non vedo l'ora di tornarci presto "
